Our story
Everything started with friends I play dominoes with, and our shared taste of beer.
Beer was our always present companion those days when me and my friends got together to play dominoes. When I first came to live to Vallarta, I noticed our beautiful port didn't have an emblematic drink or meal like Puebla's mole, and Monterrey's cabrito. That's when the idea was born: Puerto Vallarta deserved to have its own craft beer.
I made some research to find out if the name "Vallarta" was available, and it was. After some formalities, I was able to get it. I asked a talented artist to paint our town's essence, with its streets and the emblematic crown of the cathedral. That work of art became the label of our beer.
With a very good friend I played dominoes with, he and I got on board to the creation of what now is Cerveza Vallarta. Our beer started to materialize in baby steps, and each batch got better.
Today, Puerto Vallarta has its own craft beer, made with passion, dedication, and the unique flavor of our town.
